Course Overview

 

The CEFR B1 (Intermediate) course helps learners communicate more confidently in everyday, academic, and workplace situations. Students practice expressing opinions and preferences, describing experiences and plans, understanding main ideas in clear speech and texts, and producing connected written work.

 

 

Contents and Skills

• Expressing opinions, preferences, and suggestions.
• Discuss work, studies, travel, and personal experiences.
• Understand the main points of clear, standard speech on familiar matters.

• Read articles, blogs, short stories, and workplace texts.
• Write personal letters, informal emails, and short essays or reports.
• Summarize main ideas from simple texts.

• Topics include education, technology, culture, jobs, media, environment, and travel

 

Student Achievements

• Handle most situations likely to arise while traveling or working in an English-speaking environment.
• Take part in conversations on familiar topics with reasonable fluency and spontaneity.
• Produce connected text on topics of personal interest, experiences, and opinions
• Understand the main points of clear written and spoken language on everyday subjects.
• Use grammar and vocabulary with increasing accuracy and confidence.
